Greetings everyone!
Bacachoo got lazy, so he asked me to be a temporary author on his blog. Anyway, since the weekend has unfortunately come to an end, we have a whole new week coming up with more contests, and other events for you to participate in! To start with, it has been quite awhile since we had a Coins Rain contest. Get your mouse ready, because it's time for you to compete to the top!
You have from today, January 13th, all the way until next Monday, January 20th, to try and get your name to the top of the leader-board. The top three winners will receive bugs, Citizenship, and some other cool prizes! Make sure to have fun and do your best!

Hello everyone!
We're already 10 days into 2014. Wow, it's gone by so fast! It's also hard to believe that next month, we celebrate Valentine's Day! There's a bit of a twist to this Valentine's Day though... A designing contest! The designing team needs your help with designing some really neat items for Valentine's Day this year, so grab a writing utensil, some paper (or your computer) and get to sketching!

The rules are very simple! All designs must be Valentine's Day themed. If you are going to be designing on a computer, use this template for your designs. If you will be sketching on paper, make sure that your design is clear to see.
You will have until Friday, January 24th to complete your design and submit it, so no need to rush! 2 whole weeks to make your designs as perfect as they can possibly be. Winners of the designing contest will receive 1 week of citizenship, 5000 bugs, and will have their design implemented into the game, as well as they will receive their item.

Onto another note, the Chobots team has finally scheduled the first game night of 2014! Mark your calenders for this Sunday, January 12th to compete in your favorite games all around Chobots!
Game Night is a special competition because all game leaderboards are open to the public for a set amount of time. Game Night occurs every few weeks or so, so if you miss this one, don't feel bad! Participate in the contests and win some really cool items such as...
- A special game controller
- A nice amount of bugs
- Some citizenship
Always remember that cheating is very forbidden. If you catch a cheater, report them to support@chobots.net with picture proof.

We all know it's been a pretty long week with the dreaded return to school (unless you're me and have been home all week due to snow), so why not end the week out with a fun comic contest? The only catch to this particular comic contest: You are required to use this picture at some point within the comic:
Yes! The camel picture (or item if you know someone who bought it) is required in at least one of the panels within your comic! The picture IS allowed to be scaled down in order to fit your template if needed. Once finished, upload the finished product to an image uploading website likeImgur or Tinypic. Once that is done, take the link of the uploaded comic and post a comment on this post with the link and your username under the link. All entries must be submitted by Monday, January 13th, so you have tons of time to make your comic perfect to your liking!

At the beginning of each month, the team looks for new journalists. The journalist program allows users to work on a blog, and at the beginning of each month, enter it, and the blogs that look the most clean and inform the most will earn journalism for the month. Requirements for entering journalism are as follows:

The journalist program allows users to work on a blog, and at the beginning of each month, enter it, and the blogs that look the most clean and inform the most will earn journalism for the month. Requirements for entering journalism are as follows:
- Your blog should be at least one month old and updated each week.
- The posts on your blog are original and not plagiarized from any other blog or website.
- You may use images from the Official Blog within the posts you make.
- There is at least 1 active blogger, but no more than 4 contributors
Journalism comes with some amazing rewards, such as:
- You blog will be featured above the play page
- You will earn a badge to go on your playercard, along with an exclusive playercard skin.
- You will earn a week of free citizenship at the beginning of the month NOTE: If your blog has more than 4 contributors, the entire group WILL NOT be rewarded
- You will earn the feather item
- You will be invited to write one post on the official blog
- You will earn the ability to PC moderators while their player cards are blocked
- Your blog will be bookmarked by Chobots moderators
- Your blog will be featured on the official blog's sidebar
- Your name will have a purple name tag
If you feel like your blog meets the requirements and you want to try out for Journalism, you will have until Friday, January 10, 2014 to enter your blog. After the submission period is over, the Chobots team will review all of the entries and then post the January Journalists in a separate post.
